1) Do I need an appointment?

No, we understand how important convenience is with your busy schedule so please just come on in when the time is right for you. We are open everyday from 10am until 7pm with the last bath at 6:30pm.

 

2) What do I need to bring with me? Just the dog!

We provide everything you need to bathe and groom your dog. However, if you have a specific product or grooming tool, feel free to bring it in (but all charges will be the same as if you were using our supplies).

 

3) How much does it cost? ONLY $15.00! No matter how big, dirty or hairy your dog, the cost is the same…what a bargain!

 

4) Do I have product choices? Yes! For an additional charge you can choose from the following products:

5) Are there any other extras? 

Yes, you can choose to add on a toothbrush and

toothpaste, bow accessories, rubber gloves or clipper rental. Prices vary.

 

6) Do you offer discounts? 

Yes, there are many ways to get a discount:

-Star Treatment Package = Pre-buy 9 washes and your 10^th wash is free!

-Service Dog Discount = 10% off with Identification.

-Rescued Dog = 50% off 1^st visit with adoption paperwork

 

7) Can I wash my cat at Dogstar? Yes, but to ensure the safety of your pet and other pets, cats and other small domestic pets are welcome by appointment only. Most cats and other small domestic pets are much calmer when the environment is quiet.

 

8) What are the benefits to using a self-service dog wash? MANY! 

It is a great way to save time and money. At Dogstar, you can get all your grooming done with professional tools and products as well as pick up pet supplies all in one trip. Maybe your dog regularly goes to an expensive groomer but isn’t ready for the full groom and just needs a good bath and blow dry, you can’t beat the price at $15.00. It is usually less stressful for a dog to be groomed by its human companion and a great time for the two of you to bond. There is no clean up, leave it all to us!

 

9) Can I bring my dog even if it doesn’t get along with other dogs?

Call us and we will make every effort to accommodate you and your dog. Depending on the situation, we may ask that you make an appointment.

 

10) Is there a time limit to using the suites?

No. It typically takes 30 minutes to wash and dry your dog depending on the size, coat type and amount of grooming required. We don’t limit your time in the suite but we do ask that you are courteous of others who are waiting to use the suites and try to finish within 30 minutes. If there is nobody waiting, you are welcome to take as much time as you like.
